SEE

Map the reality as it actually exists

We don't focus on the org chart version or what leadership thinks is happening. We sit with frontline workers, interview participants and clients, and if available, we look into your data. Then we build a picture of what people actually experience from first contact through to ongoing service; and how that's being delivered.

We collaborate with leadership and the board to understand and design a direction. We bring both worlds together into one picture.

We ask the questions the team has stopped asking, to uncover the possibilities that insiders are too close to see.

SHAPE

Design around behaviours and needs, not just process

We do co-design workshops where your team builds the solution with us (for real). We design for how humans actually behave; what drives and blocks them. Then we layer processes and technology (including AI) deliberately; to automate repetitive tasks, eliminate what's not adding value and connect systems to create efficiencies.

This phase is what makes change easier; because your people designed it.

SHiFT

Implement so the work doesn't stay on a slide deck

We support you through implementation; designing the details, providing change and communications support. We stay alongside you and your team; as your partner making sure the design becomes the reality.

Where required, we design assets (forms, visuals, spaces, AI tools) and we support your team to adopt them; always specifically designed for your context and handed over to your people.

SUSTAIN

Build capability so it keeps improving

Track what changes, measure what matters, and build the internal capability for the experience to keep compounding.

The goal is for your organisation to run this without us; because the best outcome is that you no longer need us for your day-to-day.

The Experience Architecture Framework

Before we redesign anything, we need to understand what's actually happening.

After more than a decade working with purpose-led organisations, we designed a framework that serves as the structure to design services and experiences that create real impact.

The Experience Architecture Framework is a structured way of looking at how trust is built, value is delivered, and impact is sustained across your organisation. We look into six layers and one multiplier, each measuring a different dimension of how your clients, team, or partners experience working with you.

Most organisations have invested in some of these layers without realising it. Strong operations here, a great team member there, a process that works well in one area but breaks down in another. The framework connects these pieces and reveals the patterns that are otherwise invisible:

  • Where the experience is strong by design,
  • Where it's strong by effort, and
  • Where it's quietly leaking the loyalty you've worked hard to build.

AI approach

Think Then AI

AI should amplify purpose, not replace the people behind it.

Our approach to AI is not different to our approach with any technology; before we recommend a single tool, we understand the humans, the organisation, the direction and real needs.

We don't open with a technology recommendation; we arrive at it after the human picture is clear. Introducing AI without understanding that context first isn't innovation; it's risk.

This isn't anti-AI; it's pro-human. The two things are not in conflict; and in purpose-led organisations, getting that sequence right is everything.

We've created this methodology in collaboration with Sofia Geyer from The Human Lab to help you identify when, where and how to best incorporate AI.
